About Kv Sikh Lines, Meerut

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sikh Lines is one of the most prestigious and premier institutions of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Earlier to 1963, this Vidyalaya was Regimental School run by Ministry of Defence. It is one of those first twenty schools, which were converted into Central Schools in 1963. Mr. B.S.Sharma was the first Principal and Col. B.S.Bajwa was the first Chairman of Vidyalaya Management Committee. Later this Vidyalaya was called as Kendriya Vidyalaya under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Today school is excelling in all fields under the able guidance of Present Principal Mr Naval Singh, his inspiration as reflected in various fields of activity, has taken this Vidyalaya to the highest level of excellence.
